Commitment of the Bayt Mal Al Qods Agency to build 156 housing units in Al Qods

Bayt Mal Al Qods Agency of the Al Qods (Jerusalem) Committee will build 156 housing units in Beit Hanina for the low-income inhabitants of the holy city of Al Qods, for a global budget of USD 20 millions, under a convention signed by the agency and the Palestinian council for housing in the presence of HM Mohammed VI. The agency, an affiliate of the Al Qods Committee, offshoot of the Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC) representing over 1.2 billion Muslims around the world, has funded several projects, including the construction of 139 building units for needy and disadvantaged families in the city, agency's Director, Abdelkebir Alaoui Mdaghri said at the signing ceremony.
The agency which operates in the fields of housing, education, health and youth, also supports programs on granting individual loans aimed for construction or revamping for middle and low-income earners, in addition to assistance to needy and disadvantaged people, he added.
