Casablanca stock Exchange achieves best performance in MENA region
Mr. Berrada stressed that the
financial institution has also become a guarantee for foreign investors in
terms of performance and international standards. The Casablanca Stock Exchange
is the third oldest stock exchange in Africa as it was established in 1929.
It includes two markets: the Central Market and a Block Trade Market, for
block trades.

The
Casablanca Stock Exchange (CSE), which has achieved one of the best performances
in the region of the Middle East and North Africa (MENA), is Africa's third
largest Bourse after those of Johannesburg, South Africa, and Cairo, Egypt,
Casablanca stock exchange chairman said recently. The current capitalization
of the Bourse des Valeurs de Casablanca stands at USD 96.3Bn, while the average
volume of daily transactions has reached USD 137.7Mn, Mr. Fathallah Berrada
told MAP on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum (WEF) on the Middle East,
held in Egypt.
